  • Clarke-Hess Model 5600 Precision Phase Standard

The Clarke-Hess Model 5600 Precision Phase Standard replaces the industry standard Model 5500-2. Using the latest digital techniques and optimally designed output circuitry the Model 5600 offers the same level of high accuracy, voltage range and low distortion as the Model 5500-2 but now covers a much greater frequency range, can drive loads of up to 30mA and a full decade of higher resolution. It also does this at a remarkably low cost and in a much smaller package. The combination of excellent phase accuracy, excellent amplitude accuracy and low distortion from each channel make the Model 5600 ideal for calibrating Phase Meters, Phase Angle Voltmeters, Vector Voltmeters, Power Analyzers and FRA’s.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 6000A Phase Meter

The Clarke Hess Model 6000A Phase Meter uses the latest digital techniques and optimally designed analog front end out-performing any other phase meter on the market today. The Model 6000A Phase Meter automatically selects the proper range for both amplitude and phase and is wave shape independent. The user only needs to connect the two input cables to the phase meter to obtain a phase reading. Voltage Over range or Under range is indicated whenever either of the two input signals is too large or too small. An OFFSET toggle on the front panel allows the user to make differential phase measurements without the need of subtracting large numbers. The Model 6000A is galvanically isolated from ground and from channel to channel.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 610 and 650 Phase Meter Current Shunts

The Clarke Hess Model 610 and 650 Current Shunts are specifically designed to operate with the Model 6000A Precision Phase Meter. These shunts are frequency tuned to have negligible phase shift (less than ± 5mº) at 50/60Hz making them ideal for line frequency applications. They can also be idealized for other frequencies as specified by the user.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 5002 Phase Verification Bridges

The Clarke Hess Model 5002 Phase Verification Bridge set comprises passive devices that are used in conjunction with Model 5500-2 Phase Standard and an output null indicator such as a true rms voltmeter, an oscilloscope or a wave analyzer to verify that the Phase Standard is continuing to operate within its specified phase accuracy limits. Each bridge has two input terminals for the two output terminals of the Phase Standard and an output terminal to which the null indicator is connected An impedance (a resistor or a capacitor) is connected between each input terminal and the output terminal.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 515 High Accuracy AC Reference Source

The Clarke Hess Model 515 High Accuracy AC Reference Generator fills a need for a relatively low cost and practical solution for supplying a reference excitation to typical LVDT and Synchro/Resolver transducers. The Model 515 has built-in load sensing which, in effect, yields “zero” output impedance and virtually eliminates the effects of fluctuating output loads. With up to 15 VA of output into loads with as much as 80º of phase shift, the Model 515 is ideally suited to driving inductive loads. The unit features remote sensing, galvanically isolated outputs, overload protection and USB digital interface. IEEE-488 control can be added as an option.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 7600 Distortion Analyzer

The Clarke Hess Model 7600 Distortion Analyzer is unlike any other product of its kind on the market. Using the latest digital techniques and optimally designed analog front end, the Model 7600 out-performs any other distortion analyzer on the market today. It also does this at a remarkably low cost. The unit automatically selects the proper range for both amplitude and percent distortion and is wave-shape independent. The user only needs to connect one input cable to obtain a distortion reading. Voltage Over-range or Under-range is indicated when the signal is too large or too small. The Model 7600 is galvanically isolated from ground.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 2335A Wideband Power Analyzer

The Model 2335A Wideband Power Analyzer is a precision, high accuracy, high frequency auto-ranging power analyzer which measures and displays true rms Voltage, true rms Current, and true mean Power over a frequency range from dc to more than 1MHz. Full scale Current and Voltage inputs are typically measured within ±0.1% of the amplitude reading to at least 500kHz. The corresponding Power is typically measured to within ±0.1% of the input Volt-Amperes to 250kHz and to within ±0.2% of the input Volt-Amperes to 500kHz for loads having any Power Factor.

  • Clarke-Hess Model 2600 Phase Angle Voltmeter

The Model 2600 Phase Angle Voltmeter replaces the very popular Model 2500A. With the latest and most advanced DSP technology, this instrument provides a new level of performance and user friendliness. The Model 2600 Phase Angle Voltmeter makes measurements of Phase Angle, In-Phase, Quadrature, Fundamental and Total a breeze. In Vector mode, 4 out of 5 of these parameters can be displayed simultaneously, includes a built-in oscilloscope for viewing input waveforms. By using an external shunt, it can also, measure Power, Power Factor, THD, Harmonics, and Impedance.

Isolated inputs allow null, ratio and gain measurements of key parameters and a reference offset facilitates bridging measurements and including a Sensitive Null Meter. Optional on-board reference generator has plenty of power to drive most LVDT/Synchro references. This feature eliminates the need for an external reference; although the unit can be used with an external generator if so desired. The Model 2600 also includes pre-defined LVDT/RVDT functions such as (A-B)/(A+B) and (A-B)/Ref. The optional third channel allows (A-B)/(A+B), in phase, QUAD and phase angle measurements to be made with respect to the oscillator input.
